It's been a while since our last blog, we have just been so busy working with our existing clients and also speaking to new ones that we just haven't had chance to write anything. We will try not to leave it so long next time, hopefully...
The past few weeks have certainly been eventful, and most of our time has predominantly been made up with forging new relationships, but also working harder to develop the ones we already have.
With fresh blood in the business, its always good to evaluate what has been previously offered to clients, and to look at how this can be moved forward in future to give a more in depth advertising service. With this in mind we are increasingly speaking to new types of advertising media that we may not have used previously. Not only does it keep LF Media in touch with the ever changing media, but it also gives our clients a greater variety of advertising platforms.
One such company who we have spoken to are Spotify, the free legal music service. For those of you not aware of who Spotify are, have a look at their website, http://www.spotify.com/uk/new-user/. They offer users a free streamed music service that is paid for by advertisements that play every 10 mins or so! We think this is a brilliant idea as it is opening advertising doors to certain demographics that may not have been as accessible previously.
An interesting article we saw this week was that Skype will now be advertising within its software for the first time, again another great way for agencies to promote their clients on a global platform, to the mass market.
It will be interesting though to see the feedback that regular Skype users will have to this type of advertising, and also the costs that will be involved with it.
