All is good!!!!!!!!

This is my 1st blog, Adam is usually the proff at it, but I thought I would give it try. It's been a slow week this week, what with all the Bank Holiday's and the Royal Wedding. But at least the weather is still holding up.

I have just finished doing a recruitment campaign for our client James Carl Hair & Beauty, who wants to recruit stylists on a 50/50 basis. We rolled it out through paper, posters and window poster designs (photo attached).

Linda is busily getting all her stuff ready for her hols in a couple of weeks, which is well deserved.

This is a short one but just treading water at the moment.

Good luck to everyone taking part in this years BRMB Walkathon.

The shortest month ever...

It has to be said, and I'm sure we will all agree, this month has absolutely flown by. All of the team in the office feel as if we have hardly seen each other! With only a three day week this week, it was a good chance to catch up on paperwork and all the other little bits that have been missed.

We have been extremely busy this month working with a new client of ours, Wolverhampton Racecourse, in promoting the Miss Black Country 2011 finals, and also the up and coming Fun Day and Ladies evening. They're a great team to work with, and heres hoping for a lasting relationship. If you are interested in the Horses and especially a good night out, check out their website at http://www.wolverhampton-racecourse.co.uk/.

Another client we are now working closely with, have recently been seen on the Frank Skinner - Opinionated. His Hair Clinic, based in London and Birmingham offer an alternative hair loss treatment that involves using a skin pigmentation technique to give you a shaved head look. The treatment is a great way to get a full head of hair without the pain of hair transplants, or the side effects of tablets. Check them out at http://www.hishairclinic.com/.

With only a few days till the Royal Wedding, all the team at LF Media hope you have a great day off, and fingers crossed the weather will hold up for us and them!

Is it Spring yet?

Last week was a cracking one in the LF Media office, the sun was shining which helped productivity go through the roof! We had some really informative meetings with both clients and media, giving us plenty to work with.

We have had our creative hats on, pitching for new business for a well known events company in the West Midlands. We think we have come up with some really strong ideas, which will hopefully be turned into a future partnership. The pitching process is always difficult as you do not want to fire your best ideas over straight away, if we do not win the business, our best ideas have gone! But on the other hand, we also do not want to undersell ourselves, we know in the office that the team has the potential to really help raise awareness of our clients brands.

Big news at the office is that we have space to rent...We are based in an idyllic rural setting in Hagley and the space available is a self contained modern, light and spacious office. We think it would be ideal for a Graphic Designer, Marketing/PR professional. Were really trying to create a buzz in the office  by trying to get creative types all in one space. If you know anyone who would be interested, please get in touch for a quick chat.

After our previous blog mentioned product placement, it was interetsing to see last week that Nescafe had a return of 5:1 on the original cost of the placement on this morning. The outlay of £100,000 doesnt seem so bad after all!

Product placement at its best...
Still not sure what we think of it yet, we cant be sure that it really makes that much difference to programming, but from those fore-casted figures, its obviously working for Nescafe!

I received an email from one of our contacts in the media this morning, to show us something new they are trying with their advertising. The team in the office is well aware of augmented reality, so its good to see companies using it in really really cool advertising. Check out the link...

If you would like anymore information regarding this blog, or the work we are doing at LF Media, dont hesitate to call or email the team.

Have a cracking week

Long time no speak!

It's been a while since our last blog, we have just been so busy working with our existing clients and also speaking to new ones that we just haven't had chance to write anything. We will try not to leave it so long next time, hopefully...

The past few weeks have certainly been eventful, and most of our time has predominantly been made up with forging new relationships, but also working harder to develop the ones we already have.

With fresh blood in the business, its always good to evaluate what has been previously offered to clients, and to look at how this can be moved forward in future to give a more in depth advertising service. With this in mind we are increasingly speaking to new types of advertising media that we may not have used previously. Not only does it keep LF Media in touch with the ever changing media, but it also gives our clients a greater variety of advertising platforms.
One such company who we have spoken to are Spotify, the free legal music service. For those of you not aware of who Spotify are, have a look at their website, http://www.spotify.com/uk/new-user/.  They offer users a free streamed music service that is paid for by advertisements that play every 10 mins or so! We think this is a brilliant idea as it is opening advertising doors to certain demographics that may not have been as accessible previously.

An interesting article we saw this week was that Skype will now be advertising within its software for the first time, again another great way for agencies to promote their clients on a global platform,  to the mass market.
It will be interesting though to see the feedback that regular Skype users will have to this type of advertising, and also the costs that will be involved with it.

As usual please don't hesitate to contact the LF Media if you would like to know what we do, and if we can help with your advertising needs.

Running around like headless chickens

With new client meetings, advertising for old clients, and sorting out bits around the office,we certainly have had a full schedule. That being said, the week has gone extremely quickly, and we are pleased that our work load is starting to drastically increase.

This week has been all about forging new relationships with both the media and clients. By looking at publications, and new ways of advertising that we may not have used before, we hope that we can stay ahead of the game! Client visits are also extremely important for us so that we can continue working with our more established partners, but to also bring on new business that will help take LF Media in different directions. Several client meetings from this week will hopefully lead to some fresh and exciting ideas that we can work on in the coming months, so as usual, watch this space.

Dominic, the Digital Director, has been keeping a close eye on the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Dom's passion, Augmented Reality, is being showcased at the show, and Dom hopes this will increase awareness for businesses on what Augmented Reality is and how companies can use it in extremely exciting ways. If you would like any more information on Augmented Reality, please don't hesitate to contact the LF Media office to speak to Dominic.

A client we have worked with for a long time , The Abbey Hotel/Lea Marston hotel, have some excellent offers for half term week so be sure to check out their websites to see the latest deals. You can find them at http://www.leamarstonhotel.co.uk/ & http://www.theabbeyhotel.co.uk/.

As usual if you do have any Advertising or digital inquiries, please don't hesitate to contact the team at LF Media, and we will be more than happy to have a chat with you.

Have a cracking weekend.

Another busy week for the LF Media team is afoot, with bookings, meetings and parties galore! After a very busy week last week pitching ideas for Audi, this week is a good chance to chase up outstanding paperwork, and catch up on all of the emails.

On Wednesday we are looking forward to going to the Capital FM Launch party, the whole team is going so it will be a good chance to show case ourselves ,and also celebrate the launch of the fab radio station.

On top of that we also have new business meetings to take care of, so all in all a brilliant week for the team at LF Media.
